I am really looking forward to it.

BUt is anyone else like me and not sure what the next games are. In the ‘old days’ (pre covid!) I knew all the upcoming games as I had to book tickets for away games and make sure we were free for home games. Now In haven’t a clue. Haven’t even received a fixture card yet.

The fixture list is here there and everywhere on that old internet thing :)

I know what you mean though. I haven't looked at it either.

I know but it is so much easier to have a little card in your bag to look at. Assume they will send them out with the season tickets which might never be used!

The next game is Wigan at home (today).

Don't believe a word I say. I'm only kidding. Or am I?

This is how fuddyduddy I am Bankers. When the fixtures come out I write all the home games and some away ones in a diary. Yes, I actually write them with a pen, in an actual paper diary. I carry the diary in my coat. It's a little one you see. The diary, not my coat. I have big coats, for all seasons. I also have notebooks. By the bed. By the bog. In bags, and in various pockets. You never know when inspiration will strike. I don't use my phone much, it's an expensive answer machine in effect. I had a pager in the mid 90s (wtf). For no reason.

I was however an earlyish adopter of mobile tech. I bought a Motorola Startac through Orange in 1998. The flip one with a little extendable aerial. I still have it. It's still super stylish. It doesn't work though, obviously.

But it's the bag I want to know about.

It's a Barnsley briefcase.

(that's a plastic bag, for anyone who doesn't read Viz)
