Awful, aren't they. Once they're emptied they blow all over the place. We started with 2 when we moved here 6 years ago. Now we have about 14. No idea who they belonged to, they just ended up on our drive.
The waste services in Colchester are generally pitiful. When they reopened the tip after lockdown, the queues went for miles because they refused (no pun) to put an appointment system in place. Eventually they just shut it down again. A couple of months ago they tried to bring in a charge for collecting garden waste, which didn't go down well.
