Odd the difference in treatment between him and Jackson.

Not saying both should have been banished to the u23s just feel there should be consistency.

Any one else think Downes will go to Cardiff in the summer? Mick gave him his debut and frequently praised him. He's a Mick type player and as we know McCarthy has a habit of signing players he knows. Don't think there will be Premiership interest so it seems like a good fit. Only question is can they afford him?

I thought this recently wouldn't be surprised to see Mick come in for a couple of the younger players he managed.

On the flip side he may come in for Chambers and Skuse!
