Perhaps more interesting for the comments than the broadbrush investor faced sales pitch:

Tesla is a myth. I honestly don't think they will exist in the same form in a couple of years. Toyota are an interesting example because the regular hybrid was badly exposed by wltp and they went heavy on them. They really don't exist now in a corporate world. The ux 300e has a lot riding on it but needs to shift to the Toyota side. They have always believed hydrogen will be the one but it is a way off still.

Interesting that polestar has followed the tesla online model despite the volvo network. Showrooms are looking shaky in another big blow for property and jobs

Yeah, I was surprised to read in the article that Tesla have only sold a million vehicles. When I was in Vancouver five years ago it seemed like there was a Tesla showroom on every street corner so it does have the whiff of a bubble about to burst.

I brought up my desire for more ethical funds in an investment webinar last month and the reply I got was along the lines of 'don't write off old school businesses anytime soon'. Maybe Triodos are right to invest in Toyota because that traditional Japanese management style always has taken a long term view and that, in turn, can lead to a more sustainable approach.
