Look far better than we’ve brought in recent seasons and most importantly they all look very well suited to League One.
The squad is still too small and there are a couple of gaps but I saw more to be optimistic about today than I have in a long time. So many false dawns over the past 15 years it would be daft to go over the top based on a friendly (which we lost) but something felt different and better today. |  |

I think that it was a good workout too. I also think that we didn't see the eventual shape working to its best effect as Fraser is clearly not a left winger and Norwood is unlikely to be playing either as no 10 or a second striker. The pattern is still awaiting further players. | |
