1500 blues in good voice, and welcoming two new signings as they came across to introduce themselves.
Ashton doing a great job of speaking to fans along the touch line.
KVY, new keeper and Norwood notable on the bench.
A strong start from Town with Harper, Dobra and Piggot really standing out. Harper looked a class above. And Dobra was unplayable. Piggot rewarded with a good goal.
Bonne, Penney and Fraser were more quiet.
But then the Col U players started to look much more fired up, judge and Sears part of the catalyst. And they score. Smith doing the best impression of someone wanted to show no goal celebration but loving it, with Chambo doing the same in greeting him.
Holy starts to just fall apart, and despite Wolfenden and ndaba looking solid… it gets messy between Harper and evans stand in and Col U are briefly in the ascendency and fire up further.
We score again as Fraser and Penney start to improve and cross for Bonne to head in.
Piggot who had been excellent becomes quiet and Dobra end product fails. Holy starts to play ridiculously badly - thank god we’ve got a new stopper - and his flapping let’s in Col Us second.
We are the better team, Harper, Piggot, Penney and Fraser at times looking another level.
But our old guard want it more and with Holy and the space in front of the centre backs ragged there is a lot to improve on… a lot….
