Not the winning start to the campaign we were all hoping for, but it was bloody good to be back.
All the people who sit near me are all fine and dandy so was as happy as a pig in sh1t to see them all again after 18 months.
A reasonably good game with a good competitive edge throughout. Was impressed by Harper and Evans in the central midfield and some nice stuff played at times. A bit of patience for now as the players seem to still be finding their feet, but I’m sure they will be a force to be reckoned with going forward.
Next week should see the arrival of a couple more new faces to give us stability at the back so all in all, happy with what is going on.
League 1 referees however don’t appear to have improved.
