... When you combine that with looking very shaky at the back and giving the ball away in very bad positions it's not really any wonder it's not working yet.

I still have faith it's eventually going to click but there's so much to work on.

It's been said many times before, but what this man needed to recruit was a top-notch experienced, qualified coaching team that could quickly get the basics right, including an Assistant who might be, perhaps, less voluble, less reactive, and more tactically astute.
