Kane playing up top will get goals. However, he seems to have got in his head that he can play this free role where he goes all over the place. It's happened with England too. So many crossing positions but no one to cross to as your main striker is bumbling around at right back or defensive midfield hitting a 40 yard cross field pass.
Look at Lewandowski, Ronaldo, Lukaku - they don't care about these nice looking passes. They just want to score.
I don't know if it's a coaching thing, or Kane trying to make things happen out of frustration. |  |
