Sorry, got to disagree with you there that delivery for their goal was inch perfect, good pace, swinging away from the keeper and the right height for the attacker to head home. It’s ok, to give the opposition credit, that was a difficult cross for the keeper to deal with. Not better than Holy? Blimey. | |

He hasn’t played that often for months. Even after 3 games where I agree he has shown some rustiness, which you’d expect, he’s already shown enough that he’s a far better keeper than Holy. We aren’t going to have an Ederson or Allison playing for us or a keeper that is top level in all facets of their game, so we need to stop looking for perfection, he wouldn’t be playing L1 football with us if he was. However, is he a solid dependable keeper? The more he plays, he certainly looks like it and that’s exactly what we need currently. | |
