Wycombe Plymouth diferences 14:19 - Nov 1 with 851 viewsDavoIPB

Just an observation having seen some of Wycombe vs Fleetwood and watched some previous Plymouth games. There are some teams in this league that look like good, quality teams playing well with decent players. Plymouth are one of those teams. They have decent players and play good football. Wycombe look like a league one side scoring scrappy goals usually mistakes from the opposition. Ipswich look a much better footballing side than Wycombe but on a par with Plymouth.

Think we may find it better viewing tomorrow night than on saturday.

Wycombe are a big physical side, who try to bully teams into submission. We need to be up for the fight from the first whistle and maintain our concentration levels. Otherwise, as you’ve rightly pointed out they’ll capitalise on our mistakes and let’s be fair, they are very good at it.

You remember how Wycombe play, all physical and with an excess of gamesmanship?

And presumably you've also noticed what happens to us under sustained physical pressure this season - Cheltenham, Accrington etc?

Thats true. They haven't looked particularly good in their games and have scraped through some of them by one goal. If Edmundson and Nsiala are strong enough we should be fine.

wycombe have won all but one of their home games by 1 goal (that was 2-0 by gillingham), they're pretty efficient at that, but we'll be a different test for them

Yep have to agree. We actually play some good passing football. Fleetwood got through them three times at the weekend and we kept Fleetwood quiet for most of the game against us.

According to Plymouth manager we “ were in their faces, and a strong team”. Doesn’t sound like the Town I know, but if we are changing tact slightly in this league , I’m all for it. Will we match WW for that bullying style? Not a hope in hell. But maybe if we can just stop gifting goals we might actually win games.

Poll: Would this current Town team beat the current narwich team
