... that against teams they think are not at their level they aren't 'up for it'? The performances against Portsmouth and Wycombe show what they can do when they feel they have something to prove.

But my worry is there are more of the former clubs in this league than the latter. So beating the 'top' teams won't count for much if the lesser teams keep tripping us up.

I don’t think so, yesterday was just a flat game in the cup whereas the league the players are (and I know it shouldn’t make a difference) are far more motivated. The other results in the cup prove it’s the same with other teams.
