I can’t see Cook losing his job due to the number of players we bought that are cook players. If we were to sack him, who is out there.
All the good managers are in jobs so it would mean a pay off to cook and compensation to club if we take there manager, i can’t see the Americans doing that just yet.
I really don’t know if Cook will succeed, the quality of football is actually getting worse as the season has gone. It’s nothing to do with gelling, as style of play is slow and often ends up with a big hoof hoping Bonne will win a 50/50 header.
If Cook was to stay we need another 4-5 new players in January - a new CB, 2 attacking wing backs, a new centre midfielder and possibly another striker.
How we are now, I can’t see us finish above 8th. The feel good factor has truly gone and portman road is becoming hostile. This is where Ashton earns his money - does he stick or twist ? |  |
