Cook 12:28 - Dec 7 with 540 viewssaffers12

I was a Cook out fan - which does not mean I wanted us to lose. Was gutted for him as buzzing when he joined. No sympathy in terms of needing to get rid.

However I do feel he was let down very slightly but some players in some situations. For example Hladky against Wimbledon for second goal - would have been an extra 2 points. Plus a couple of other situations when he in most seasons would have got another 5/6 points and would still be in a job...sliding doors and all that

However BM podcast were spot on when said too many below performances with the odd spike in the positive direction

Basically had two convincing performances under him in over 40 games. The rest of it was plodding, error-filled football.

It’s a shame he failed as he talked a good game. Both he and Lambert probably overdid the trying to connect with the fans stuff. Next time lads, just win some fooking games in division three and you’ll soon get the fans onside.

Get the results with a good performance and don't talk rubbish and you'll get all fans onside. As fans of Ipswich we've had far to many years of poor results or poor performances or a manager that just chats rubbish to try and appease the fans. We aren't hard to get on side just do the three things mentioned and the new manager will have 100% of the fans backing.
