Hopes for the 2nd Ashes Test? 09:21 - Dec 14 with 361 viewsChrisd

Mine, try to make it competitive lads. Winning two sessions from 3 and half days play simply isn't good enough.

Don't get excited about a 100 run partnership when we are still 80 odd behind or whatever.

Massive shame, so close to making something happen first test. Hazelwood out of next test with side strain, their bowlers were starting to tire. Root & Malan needed to bat another 15-20 overs.
If we go Broad and Anderson hope we’re not out in the field quite as long, little warm up for either, both getting on.

I like the way they are saying we have a chance with Anderson and Broad with the pink ball under lights, but we can't bat in bright sunlight against the Kookaburra ball that doesn't do anything after 15 overs.

The batting and reserve batting is so weak, it's time for Buttler and Bairstow to give up red ball cricket and go with Foakes.

Up and mainly down, following Town since 88
