What would be your dream run to World Cup glory (for England or another nation) if you could pick it?
I'd have to say a group of death consisting of Germany, Australia and Uruguay. We'd get outplayed by Germany but win 1-0 and then destroy Australia and Uruguay to qualify.
Scotland would be easily knocked out in the last 16, followed by a big win over France in the QF, then a poor performance in the SF over Argentina so we didn't feel too confident, with a last gasp hand ball to win it before a trouncing of Germany in the final, after they'd moaned all tournament about how lucky we were in the group stage.

I’ve never been fussed about Germany.
But I’d love to defeat Argentina, preferably on penalties resulting in the Argentinians losing their minds and being escorted off the pitch by riot police itching for a scrap.
