KMc is always so measured in his interviews this just gave a glimpse of what it must be like working under him. He looked and sounded like a proud Dad when speaking about him (well actually maybe a older brother considering the ages of the two). We all know deep down that this momentum, relationship, togetherness of all parties won't last forever, but it feels so good after having 20 plus years in the wilderness that something special is happening here. I am already a little sad that it won't feel like this forever (and I am a 37 year old bloke who should know better), but we just have to enjoy every second whilst we are playing well, the team are so together and the old ground is looking so magnificent. Bring on Charlton, cannot wait. | |
