Interesting interview with new Norwich investor 17:22 - Nov 15 with 1747 viewsle2blue

Putting rivalries to one side, they seem to have landed themselves a good investor. He has a very good reputation in the US, both in the VC world and with what he has achieved at the Brewers, who are very well-run and have invested smartly in infrastructure. Sounds like he will eventually look to take a majority stake in the club.

Interesting insights - he has spoken to Mark Ashton already, guess you keep your friends close and enemies closer :)...and whilst raising money for the deal he met with the Phoenix Pension Fund only to discover that they'd already chosen Ipswich!

We seriously need to get promoted this season so Gamechanger can accelerate their investment in the team and our infrastructure to compete with Norwich...we also need to realise how fortunate we are to have them involved, with Evans we'd be screwed for the foreseeable future!

Proceed with caution.....

As much as I'm enjoying Nodge's crap form and hope it stays like that, they do seem like a decent investment for the club and suites them quite well.

Hard (and foolish) to compare success in different sports and different countries, but the Brewers have overachieved for many years through smart recruitment and good coaching. They have consistently outperformed teams with vastly bigger payrolls. So that’s a concern. And you’re right, if we don’t go up this season it’s going to be hell. All the buzz and excitement will very quickly dampen down if it’s Accrington at home in August 2023.

That ole rat bag Delia Smith will never relinquish overall control in that club. She’s going to hand i5 over to her son, much to the dislike of budgie fans.

She’s a rat bag, but she doesn’t have any children so not sure about that one.
