I believe Ipswich have the best defensive record in 2022 in the EFL and yet Lincoln have conceded same number of goals at home this season as Town, at 9 conceded.
Lincoln are a miserly defensive opponent at home.
Who have drawn 1-1 with Plymouth and Weds, and recently Bolton.
And of course have yet to lose at home.
It would be a statement away win, but certainly not something that is close to being a given.
Bookies still have an Ipswich win as the favourite result. And of course despite all the doomsaying on TWTD today we still have the best away record in the league P12 W7 D3 L2 F24 A15 - which is brilliant. Won 8 from 13 would sound rather nice!!
Town need a run.. does it start at the LNER Stadium or against the league leaders at PR in a few weeks??
They are without Joe Walsh after being sent off against Bolton. Left sided centre back has been starting regularly for 9 games since returning from long term injury.
Hopefully the large away following can be the 12th man, and give us that small margin that is going to be needed.
