- Walton was very good today both with saves and distribution. The past couple of games he's looked much more assured and is back on an upward performance trajectory. - Wolfie and Burgess have pretty much made the centre back roles their own. I don't know if Keogh has had an influence behind the scenes, but the two of them have been very good. - Clarke and Davis should not be playing League 1 football lol. - Morsy and Luongo were utterly brilliant today. Morsy is so, so good on the ball and has an incredible engine on him. Takes it under pressure all the time and always seems to find an out ball. Luongo is another who always seems to have time. Brilliant performanc from both. A fit Luongo is an upgrade on our other midfielder options on recent showing. - Burns was superb today. Had to beating of his man and got another assist for Hirst. I've seen some posts in the past questioning Burns' performance, but he's an absolute work horse and isn't afraid to track back. - Chaplin and Broadhead huffed and puffed today but were both a little guilty of not taking care of the ball as much as others. Chaplin must be such an annoying player to play against as he never stops moving. - Hirst was quality. Can see he's now up to speed with how we play and has looked really good the past couple of games. - Good to see Ball get a few minutes at the end.
We keep doing what we have to do. I hope that our defensive issues earlier in the season don't come back to haunt us.
Special shoutout to Morsy who has somehow avoided the yellow card by reigning in his tackling and has arguably looked a better player for doing so.
