Just brought the whole day together for me.
Five things that stood out:
- this manager is special and will go to the very top, I just hope we can keep him for as long as possible, and I think the fans passion and other level support, is a magnet
- Hirst seems invested in the club
- the fans lining the streets to welcome the coach has a real impact
- this a very special group of players, who’ve created a great culture and friendship
- we’ve lucked out on the US owners, yes they’re in it to make money, but they see a healthy sustainable club and a great community connection as the vehicle for that
