Was just chatting to a Norwich-supporting friend, who mentioned an interesting scheme that they run for away matches.
Apparently anyone with the requisite membership can select one away match for the coming season for which they would like a guaranteed ticket, run on a first-come-first-served basis. It seems like a good idea in that it would allow long-distance fans to guarantee tickets for a game close to them.
Only issue with the Nodge administration of it, though, is that they haven't exempted their match against us in December from it so, naturally, everyone has requested a guaranteed ticket for that. Same sort of situation as with our previous Gold scheme - people who have signed up for the scheme simply for this benefit are getting tickets ahead of seasoned life-long away fans.
