We've ridden our luck at times innit, but have been good value for each win. Obviously very early days but as some of us keep commenting, you can't underestimate our form from back end of last season, regardless of the division. We were fooking sensationally good, by any metric you want to measure it. Attack and defence. We'll drop points sooner rather than later, the way we play, but pick up more than we drop. Add a quality forward and defensive cover and we are set until January when we can see where we are. Wouldn't surprise me if we are still challenging top six.

Since losing at Oxford in the fog on 21st January, I make it something like 57 goals for, 7 against from 22 games. Ok, only 3 games in the Championship (5-1), but those stats are truly ridiculous.
The only team to give us a serious going over during that period was Wednesday first half and they got theirs in the second. Agreed, it’s going to be much tougher. We’ll have our bad days and this insane run will end, but add the two players you suggest and we are on for a seriously good season. |  | | |
