Southampton have quality, outright quality to be honest. But in comparison to Ipswich, they lack not just a game plan but a more basic understanding of what they need to do as a team and how individually they contribute to that.
Kieran has our team drilled, not only do we have ways, yes ways, of playing but at an individual level our players understand what their role is and how it contributes and feeds into the wider team and how Kieran wants to play.
You can see the focus is not on the result, the result is a pure by product of doing the things he wants our players to do.
Southampton whilst individually excellent have no cohesion, identity or ethos.
