One of the early Ashton/Cook signings I thought would be good here, having been at Barca, then Villa he came with a good pedigree but in the limited games he had he just didn't fit. Maybe the Cook system (like with others) just didn't suit him here.
Anyhow glad to see him pushing on after having such a hard time here. I seem to recall that he'd already been gone some time before his departure was announced, same with Fraser (who had wiped any trace of ITFC off his socials long before he was sold to Charlton). Yes, good to see him doing well. To be fair, he didn't really get a chance here. I wonder if he was more of an Ashton/O'Leary signing. Cook seemed to decide quite quickly that he wasn't for him. He looked a little lightweight at times but clearly a skillful player. |  | | |

I was excited for louie barry. Decent little player. Not long after we signed him I saw him in his car on Cavendish Street stuck in football traffic about half an hour from kick off. He may not have been in the squad that day but it did make me question his commitment a bit. |  | | |
