He comes across as such a likeable man, and should be appreciated for choosing Ipswich to live in. I'm sure he would have found the right balance between irony and laughing through the tears if allowed to perform without threats. Difficult gig at the best of times.

He did an hour set gig at The Dove on Wednesday night - only announced on Tuesday (without naming who it was). I didn't go, as I was doing improv, but it wasn't a scheduled gig, so possibly due to not being in Shropshire.
