Only had a couple of pints before the game and a couple after.
But when I got home, I think I watched the goals a thousand times, scrolled social media way more than I should and proceeded to give a blow-by-blow account of the game to eldest daughter (who was working in Sir Bobby Robson suite during the game), youngest daughter (who had been rehearsing for a show she is in and was gutted to miss the game) and the dog (who listened patiently until it was time for his evening walk). |  |
