Just at the local supermarket, in the fruit section, wearing my ITFC jacket, when a stranger shouted out “promoted then?!” We exchanged pleasantries where he revealed he’s a Chelsea fan. I said I hope you don’t steal our coach and he laughed and replied “no, we’re getting the guy from Lie-Sesta”.
I’ll give the guy credit for understanding the concept of promotion and also prefacing his support of Chelsea with “unfortunately, I’m a fan of…”
Anyway no real point to this story other than it made me smile and also pretty cool that ITFC is recognized in small town Midwest USA. |  |
