I bet I wasn't the only one surprised that Richard was joining Blackpool from that headline!

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him as their third keeper, on the bench! He's legendary in that role in the northwest, and age is no barrier if you never actually need to play! :)

Great keeper in his pomp - I wonder how he would have coped with the more ball-playing role that Kieran requires of his keepers?
