Leading on from the point of away memberships 16:31 - Jun 19 with 684 viewsMidlandBlue25

There seems to be a lot of inaccurate points about the away membership being a closed shop last season. Anyone who tried to get tickets knows it wasn’t, QPR, Reading , Sheffield Wednesday, Huddersfield, Bristol City, Rotherham, Middlesbrough, Leeds, Wimbledon, Preston, Swansea, Plymouth, Cardiff and Blackburn all made general sale. That would sit you on 19 points when you add the 5 you get for having a membership.

I do agree with a Celtic away model, of 300 tickets or so for each away game going on general sale though.

Yep, myself and my two sons started the season on five points for the membership and got tickets for every away game I wanted apart from Norwich - so that’s three tickets for each game. I didn’t like the scheme tbh as it didn’t recognise the games we’d been to in League One, but as you say there were plenty of games with tickets available and it certainly wasn’t the ‘closed shop’ some people are making it out to be. I’d be fine with 200/300 been made available for a ballot going forward.
