Blimey he played five more games while you were writing this or should I say ranting. You rarely seem to have anything positive to say and can’t even after a 5.0 win. Another one for the ‘div’ list. |

Coincidentally I was there too last week and did those trips. I couldn’t agree more. My son and I spent four hours in the NS Documentation Centre in Munich. Reading the texts in there the similarities are even greater than I’d realised. I’m almost 60 years old and I never imagined that things could regress so badly like they are and that I would worry for the world my boys are growing up in. |

Totally agree. Been there several times and never a pleasant experience. Back in the 90s pelted with coins and whatever else when THEY scored a last minute equaliser. The guy in front had blood running from his forehead and his two kids crying. Chief steward asking the other stewards what happened - ‘didn’t see anything’ they answered. So tonight’s just the norm at Birmingham City. |

‘Lesser international grounds’ - have you ever been to Trent Bridge? I’ve had far more fun watching international cricket there than I ever have at Lords - and it’s affordable.
And as to the point to why are we playing them? As one of the retired internationals said today - Broad I think - how are they ever going to get better if they don’t play games against the top tier sides. They’ll never know what’s needed. Having said all that the bowling was woeful but at least it gives England players time in the middle. |

Loads of West Ham had also left early that day too. I thinkthat was an exception given it had been documented before hand that it takes an age to get out after a game. In the end, because so many had left early we didn’t have any problems getting out at the end of the game and I was in my car at Epping station by 5.45 |

I gave the Forest one framed on my wall. Bought and framed the Man Utd one for my eldest son for his 18th in April, among other things. I like this one too, but not enough to buy.
Shame they couldn’t have continued being the programme covers - a clear example of ‘modern football being rubbish’ with sponsors having a say over designs |

Yeah it’s becoming very troublesome. A ‘suggested for you’ historical site with a picture of Himmler picking mushrooms on holiday in 1942 - together comments including “God bless the reichsfuhrer”, which was not in anyway being ironic. The only use it seems to have for me is reminders of things I’d forgotten about from years ago. |

Absolutely this. It’s a beautiful day here in Ilkley, so what should I do? Spend 8 hours in a car for game that is little more than a glorified friendly or enjoy the sun? My ticket and my sons’ are on resale. |

Everton was my last game. The thought of the 8 hour round trip on Saturday for a meaningless game, with another 4 hour journey on Sunday for my son’s cricket, did it for me. Leicester and West Ham are both Sundays so cannot do because of cricket. Put in plenty of miles home and away this season and will again next so don’t really care what anyone thinks about not going to the next three games. |
