What an entertaining game that was. Villa showed their level once we scored first half, but second half we really looked the part. At times, you wouldn't have known who was playing Champions League football this season and who had just come up. Quality, quality performance. Sure some will say, but what about their 2 goals? so and so was at fault and we could have stopped them. It doesn't matter. The whole side is learning and adapting to life in the PL and from what I have seen today, things are looking just fine. Delap was impressive as was Phillips and Hutchinson. Work still to be done, but we are a lot further ahead from where I thought we would be. Credit to the whole side and backroom. Brilliant day at Portman Road. |  |
