The only thing I can see that O'Shea has over Wolf is a bit more pace. He has not shown aerial dominance in either box, not especially great tackles and certainly more keen to hoof it clear than Wolf. Occasionally, O'Shea has played a nice long diagonal and a few great blocks. However, Wolf is so composed on the ball, will carry it far better, is decent in the air and tackle and did little wrong in the first three games to suggest he could not adapt to this level. In his lsst game against Fulham, he was one of our best players.
Oh, and boy did we miss Axel today. Johnson was a shambles at times. |  |
