but you don't have to make this one quite the same, not sure my nerves will take it.

I have every confidence in you all so can you please stop with the brinkmanship and just start winning games so May isnt quite so stressful

Thanks in advance

Lots of love Keno xx

I don’t think it’s going to be that stressful, I think our relegation will be concluded and we won’t break out of the bottom three again this season. I’d like to be wrong, but there’s nothing to suggest we’re going to be taking this to the wire.

I'm resigned to relegation, I just want to see a few more decent results and performances now. Last night was really disappointing even with the context of the occasion and expense at which their squad has been assembled relative to ours. Defensively we gave away really poor goals (so did they to be fair) and after a bright start we became far too passive, especially against 10 men. Its really hard to play against 10 men but it was all in front of them, side to side, no real incision or creativity. It looked at times like we were too afraid to make a mistake, easy ball, very predictable. It was like us under Lambert at times when it was possession without much purpose, although of course somewhat more forgivable given its Man United and not Accrington. A chance missed for at least a point, but hey ho we move on.

I'm really optimistic about the squad we've got for next season though, even if we lose a few like Delap which is likely, the prospect of Clarke, Omari and Philogene against Championship opposition is mouth watering. Will of course be a shame to be out of the Premier league but I think we'll have a damn good go at getting back there, and of course more games, more midweeks, and the chance to batter Norwich all compensates a bit.

Some of the bed wetting is way OTT given the speed of our ascent and our readiness (or lack thereof) for it. But the frustrations in that 2nd half last night are understandable.
