Random question, back in the summer i wanted to buy my daughter a replica shirt, and as i was only off on sundays when the club shop was closed (and unsure of size to buy online) we were stuck. Now, when i was younger, and buying shirts every year (or 2 years) you could pick them up from any local sports shop, so naturally we tried all the chains etc in Ipswich, Colchester and surrounding areas with no luck, with plenty of other teams on display... Eventually i got rained off and was able to get one from the club shop and never thought to much more about it... Fast forward 8 months and i today found myself in a sports direct again, noticing no town shirts, but full of others. But this was my point, there was no umbro shirts at all... So, is the lack of shirts in generic sports shops... A. An umbro thing B. An ITFC thing C. The shops deciding to only stock the big teams D. Simply demand Im sure its most likely a contractual thing somewhere but just curious, and clearly out of touch with my shirt buying Chers | |
