For what it’s worth, I said to my mates last week I’d have us joint favs with Sheff U at 5/1 if they didn’t go up or 4/1 favs if it was Sunderland who stayed down.
The value to me is Sheff u. Wrexham should be double that price. That’s purely because of the hype. No need to go 25/1+ about them as people will back them blind at the shorter price. Bristol city probably ought to be slightly shorter.
Leicester looks big initially but the likely point deduction is already factored in.
Truth be told I think the market has it right. You can’t justify us being any bigger than 5/1 really. 6/4 to be promoted likewise is what I’d have it. | |

So we should be.
Applying the logic that I’ve seen on here since January, we spent far more money than the teams we came up with, with one eye on a team that would carve up the Championship second time around.
Southampton were worse than us and Leicester might or might not get a points deduction.
That leaves Sheff Utd as the main rival for the title.
If Coventry, Middlesbrough or West Brom finish above us, something has gone hideously wrong.
If Birmingham and Wrexham get anywhere near us, the game’s dead. |  |

We've had a year's practice trying to break down better defences than anything in the Champ. Frankly, if we can't find a method to undo the low block and make consistent pressure pay, we probably don't deserve to go up. |  |
