Many have suggested that the starting XI last night was perhaps our strongest lineup—and that may very well be the case. What strikes me, however, is that I can't recall KM ever fielding his best XI in a pre-season friendly before.
So, was that truly our best side? If it was, it raises the question: why has KM waited until now to reveal it during pre-season? Or could it be that he's engaging in a bit of tactical misdirection ahead of the new campaign?
