Dunno about you but I’ll be glad when this window closes 15:37 - Aug 27 with 540 views

I’m now getting really fed up with the constant links to players who don’t end up coming to Town for one reason or another. I’ll be glad when the 1st Sept comes and then at least we know who we’ve got and who we haven’t so we can focus on the actual football.

I know signings are exciting but all these transfer windows do is whip up lots of expectations that then don’t materialise. I blame social media and greedy agents.

Poll:

How many of yesterdays team will be in the team for the 1st game of next season?

I think we should arrange a mass group hug for all supporters in here, in Alderman Park on Tuesday. With a banner saying "It's overrated last." We'll be allowed to get emotional, within reason.

Poll:

Who do you think will be this season's surprise success story?
