I actually completely disagree. I thought they were excellent for 20 mins and first half were right in it and had the better.
The 2nd goal gave us an edge and after the 3rd we powered away. But they will be in the playoff mix come the end. A lot to do though from there. They almost have to sack the manager tonight | |

They folded like a deck of cards at 2-0, they look completely shot of confidence. Absolutely staggering how much time and space we had to play in that 2nd half. That said we played well and still needed to get ourselves into that position and exploit it when we did. |  | | |

No, they fell apart badly second half and of course there was some poor and at times comical defending tb the end. But clearly not a bad side. The game could have gone a different way because they were good first half. The second goal changed the balance for the game and they unloaded after the 3rd.
I don't think the manager survives and I see them flying up the table. They have their work cut out for playoffs but certainly don't rule them out. | |

I would bet all sorts of money that they will not make the playoffs, let alone "at least". They've lost all five games. It's an unusual achievement. They may conceivably survive if they change something up pretty soon, but there's no way they make the top 6. |  | | |

Thought they were pretty decent up until the 2nd goal. Good press and some nice play but they need a decent striker. Worlds away from Preston and Derby. I actually thought for the most part they were a decent side that challenged us well in the first half. Soon as the second went in though, it was like we were playing a different team. Heads completely dropped.

I didn’t think we played too well in the first half at times and if they had some quality in the final third they may have nicked a goal.
They folded like a pack of cards at 2-0, one of the worst defensive displays I’ve ever seen from a professional side after that. We weren’t actually that fluid or as super impressive as the scoreline suggests in my opinion, loads more to come from an attacking sense. We had so much space compared to any other game this year. So I think there is context behind this result.
That said, Philogene finally showed what we have all been waiting for and what he can do when he has some confidence going. His second in particular was class.
Other big positives;
- Furlong.
- Davis getting in familiar attacking positions.
- As I said after Birmingham, Matusiwa is going to be a class signing for us!
- Cajuste too good for this level when he’s got half a yard.
- Nunez looked really decent.
- Jack Clarke goal and worked hard when he came on fair play to him!
- Pretty sure our CM will be elite at this level when fully bedded in.
Some nit picking;
- McAteer works hard but hasn’t really got going yet, gave away a lot of free kicks tracking back and not made the most of his attacking positions yet in a Town shirt (early days though).
- We still look a bit vulnerable playing out from the back, we have lost some quality in terms of ball players at keeper and CB positions as we know. Matusiwa getting more confident wanting the ball with his back to goal will help.
- Szmodics still not finding his first home goal, poor bloke needs one!
Overall getting the Blades on deck was just what the doctor ordered and we made the most of it, confidence boosting win and talent starting to show.

Not sure why saying that about a team that’s lost all 5 of their games has got you so many downvotes. They were cr@p, held the ball quite a bit but all over the place at the back and horrible finishing.
We were ruthless and totally enjoyed it but there’s some hyperbole about how good we were. We did a good job but yes, Sheff Utd were terrible.

We made them look worse than they are.
We were good, but there's a lot more to come.
The fans really needed this as much as the players and staff.
So many positives to take from this excellent win.
If we were in full flow, could have been 6,7,8 nil.
