Everyone can see the mistakes; poor decision making, stray passes, hanging Furlong out to dry. Reduce that we get better, and better.
It's great when players who have been moaned about click, and we have a young man who is now on it. Can't judge him on last season, our already poor form dipped after his arrival. But look at his England U21 performances, the esteem Hull hold him in. I can't remember a better derby match goal.
Shame his other one was ruled out, felt that was a harsh decision against Hurst who was fouled constantly.
The 3 sub created and executed goal ensured a largely nerveless end to the game.
We may have taken some time to get going, but now we're motoring. Can we make it 3/4 seasons ending in promotion? Honestly don't know, but cut down on mistakes and get more goals into others and the ride will be interesting.
I miss the Burgess cross field passing, and the Chaplin no look pass around the corner, but we have to move on, Ashton has supported McKenna and so should we.
