We don't really have an identity.

The champ promotion side was all guts determination. Misfits put together who flourished because they didn't stop running. You saw with louingo. Broady davis they all busted a gut between them to get that ball in the box.
Chappers was everywhere he'd score. Create
Burns would receive high and wide and create
We put balls left. Right. Central

At the moment. I wouldn't actually know how to describe our football. Maybe that's the issue esp away from home, we don't appear to have an identity to which everyone plays against.

We have many talented Individuals but what are we as a team.

Our 10s aren't 10s
Our right sided players aren't really Inside forwards or wingers.
Our rb options are solid but not really helpful to our right side.
Our cbs don't compliment each other but are OK as individuals.

It's all rather odd

Agreed. There is a real lack of planning and cohesion. Almost like we suddenly found ourselves with loads of money and no chuffing idea what to do with it

Bristol city fans biggest whine about Ashton was that he sold players for a healthy profit and what he brought in wasn't as good.

No identity and the weight of expectation pushing down on us. The decision to discard Chaplin continues to make little sense. And for all the millions we’ve spent, could be 500k Burns that gets us firing again. Funny old game.

Comparison doesn't really work when it was Ashton who bought our players for much less than he sold them for in the first place does it?

I don't even think wes at full fitness shines in this team. He's got no chappers to put him in.

Chappers gave the ball away alot but he also was the player who'd always find wes. Sammy s isn't that. Cajuste isn't that. It all goes left.
