A little surprised to not see him start in place of Leif in his native LB position, especially with 32 appearances for Everton last season.
He looked fairly decent when he played at the start of the season as well.
Or is he more of a coach these days, albeit having retained his registration and squad place? The fact that he doesn't tend to be present for the H/T warm-ups suggests he might have more of a coaching input? |  |
