Just in, after not the greatest game I’ve ever seen. Unfortunate as I won’t be able to get to any home games for a bit as Daughter number one is due to deliver our first Grandson on March 7th.
As I’m on ambulance duty it rules out Swansea, Hull and Leicester this annoyance compounded by a diversion around Northampton as the A14 was shut.
Terrible ref emboldened PNE and frustrated us. Players visibly affected by the officiating.
But we should have had enough quality to get past that.
Crowd were twitchy, one of the old boys who sits behind me stood up at half time and said “This is fking boring, I’ll not bother with the second half, I’d rather watch paint dry”
He never came back after half time, I’m still not sure who he was talking to, I think the stand generally. Anyway hope everyone is ok? Remember, it’s not the cats fault. [Post edited 31 Jan 21:03]
