Things change quickly in this league 08:25 - Feb 1 with 510 viewsDubtractor

A few weeks ago Watford were being talked about as top 2 contenders after a good run, 4 games later and they are 15 points off the top 2. Bristol City were similarly placed at the time and are level with Watford now.

The key to success in the league, as it has always been, is consistency. That doesn't mean never losing or drawing, as that's not realistic, but it does mean bouncing back quickly after poor results and keeping the points total ticking over. Basically the sort of form we've had over the last few months.

February is a huge month for us - do we continue with the overall trend of the last few months over a run of tricky away games, or do the last 2 games signal the start of a wobble for us?

I'm confident that we'll keep the points total ticking over, as that's what we have tended to do under McKenna (last season aside!), but Tuesday does feel like a game we really need to pick up 3 points from.

I was born underwater, I dried out in the sun. I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.

Agreed, not high with the highs or lows with the lows, just keeping ticking over at 2ppg…so we could do with winning on Tuesday. We play twice now before Boro play again (v Cov) so things could look very different again in three matches.
