12 Years ago I went to Man City 19:38 - Mar 24 with 257 viewsDecageBruce

With my then flatmate as a leaving present as he had chosen City as his team prior to moving back to his native India. 🇮🇳 I didn’t like it but it was his choice. We did a stadium tour and then watched a game the next day.

On the tour, which involved sitting in the dug out, visiting the changing rooms with the shirts hung up and a general look around, there was a small stag party there who were well behaved but the groom dressed in a Man Utd shirt with name on the back. Very early in the tour the tour guide stated that there could be no photos taken in any of the areas by the party as they felt this would cause an issue when shared on social media. They accepted it with a little grace and they did get some taken by the guide in areas that could be misconstrued as a p*SS take.

Begs the question how no one over the last day thought to question what was happening and stop it to remove the reaction that we have seen.

Sponsors may be unhappy, fans (not all) are def unhappy, and the communication has been atrocious. The minute a member of ITFC was met with NF and his crew then questions should have been asked. If they weren’t that was a failure. If they were then it’s a bigger failure.

Regardless of political opinion, the club must not be used by external factors to forward their own agenda, popularity, angles when so much has been done to create a (seemingly) positive and inclusive club.

I’m sorry to have posted as I tend to stay away from such discussions but I have not felt so little confidence in the SLT at the team since we were purchased/rescued. MA, love him or hate him, has to sit in front of some cameras and address this, step up and perform as his role should dictate.
