Worth noting the way in which the "no official involvement" assertion 19:53 - Mar 26 with 272 viewsredrickstuhaart

was never actually a quote, nor anything formal or official.

Club appears to have quite deliberately put that out to media on a quiet briefing basis with no attribution. Presumably to create plausible deniability. Today's revelations actually don't conflict with any official statement from the club.

Talk about disingenuous.
