If Ivan could finish he'd really have a bit of everything. Superb work again for the assist tonight and he is so good with his press and in the air. Just a shame that his biggest weakness is probably the thing he needs to do best.

Yeah has the half chance on his left he might have done better with but his all round game is decent.

I wouldn’t be at all surprised if we tried to sign him if we go up.
He’s got the build and physicality for the Premier League

For a smallish fellow, he wins a surprising amount of headers against much bigger defenders.

He is a real conundrum, isn't he? There is plenty to absolutely love about his play style, but - oh my goodness - the finishing is a big negative.

If Kieran can work out a way to use him almost like a holding striker,.as per a holding midfielder, with the wingers and 10 options we have, he could work really well, but it won't help If fans expect him to be prolific.

Do we think he's a no 10, definitely a second striker?

All of the sentiment in me says sign him and use him as our project striker but its just that grey cloud with his finishing that hangs over him.

Do we back ourselves to coach it into him? I always feel like finishing is like a super power. You either have it or you dont! I hope I am wrong though.

I dunno, but his ability to flick headers on belies his height and he plays other team members in brilliantly. There is an immense player in there. KMc just needs to unleash him.

It's going to be really interesting to see what happens with him. I made a flippant comment about this the other day but a summer camp with someone like Terry Connor would do him the world of good!

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.

I still really like him, I’d prefer him as an option to Hirst.

He does work hard, but when taking a yellow is your best work, says it all.

Worst finisher I’ve ever seen at this level, and not just for us.

If my auntie had balls etc.

If it wasn’t for the romance of a foreign player doing well; he’d be getting dogs abuse. He offers literally nothing in the final third, no quality at all, does graft, and link up play is decent, but how on earth is that even good enough?

He’s league TWO in many metrics that make a striker a striker. LEAGUE TWO.

The assist was maybe better than the yellow card.

This is a terrible take, and you even contradict yourself in it, there is so much to his game and the only place he is really lacking is his finishing, and he is still quite young.

You're remarkably cocky for someone who's team are getting the open top bus out to celebrate finishing 9th.

He seemed to put his massive leap into use tonight by taking a step away from the defender and getting the flick on when the ball is still at a significant height - impressive display other than the obvious fraility in front of goal.

If we had a natural 10 who worked with him well I think it would create alot of opportunities. He reminds of david Johnson winning headers he has no right to win. But quite a lot of times no one is around him.

Largely true, unfortunately it's the most important thing that's missing, and that's probably something that's very difficult to coach into a player, finishing. For my money, I agree with the Real Zaragoza fans who insist he's a 10, not a 9. Ironic if we've had one under our noses all this time and he's never been played there! Wouldn't have to worry so much about his finishing either. Could make him an even better player!

Even No.10s have to score a reasonable amount of goals, so if he can’t do that or look like he’ll ever be able to do that, then a decision must be made. We are trying to operate at a level that has no room for sentiment I’m afraid...
