From the latest acquisitions and players linked there seems to be a common theme. They are all quite aggressive, competitive and intense players that could improve our pressing and ball retention to a great extent. I feel that we have been a bit too passive when it comes to intensity and pressing for quite a long time - especially on our own half when defending and protecting in our own half. I hope this change will make us more like Athletico Madrid that under Simeone has been leading in this. We probably won´t be the full Athletico copy (they are also very good with the ball) but hopefully similar when it comes to defending and counter attacking. A bit like Nottingham Forrest two years ago.
