We did well in the first half regardless of how Man U were. Though there is too much cope and excuses coming from supporters without actually acknowledging that United could have easily scored 8. Yes, second goal was a freak show and the slip wasn't needed but on the whole we did well and there are plenty encouraging signs we can grow to be way better than any other of our squads.

Agree on midfield but have not seen any of our new midfielders so can’t really comment on if they are the driving midfielder we are missing akin to Morsey - I think they rest of the game was ok considering new team and the weather conditions and how some decisions panned out meant you can’t really take to much of how we will do for the rest of the season from that one game -
