At palace yesterday … I always like going there despite the away stand being dodgy
Was nice as it’s an easy one for me to get to , ran there from Putney - nice and sunny
Arrived at 2:30 , was queuing for about 20 minutes to get in
Got in 2:50 , quick pint
Restricted view! But a good town away end
Really great game to be at , some really strong performances for town
Leif - involved in all 3 goals , delivery on the Emersonn goal immense , nice header for his and I thought did really well with the header which led to Flemings winner
Emersonn is some signing , looks much better than I thought he’d be , can score but also has a great first touch
Palacios looked class yesterday and Florentino looked good when he came on , added in with Lukic we look really good in the middle
Enciso of course is 🔥
Good to see Philogene back , good shift from Clarke
Good to see Fleming score and his finish looks so much better on tv
Think O’Shea at RB is still an issue , he’s a CB but Diop and Greaves are forming a pairing , I really like the look of Outtarra
Scherpen, I like him , has his moments … at 0-0 though some fans around me turning on him way too early , hate that
Great day out , always like going to palace despite having the dodgy view - glad all over is a banger too
Agree with all that. Beers near London Bridge beforehand with my son. Draught Madri at Palace & reasonable price for a London sporting event. My son had got us seats with the Palace fans at the end near the Town contingent. Palace weren't an aggressive bunch & seemed to accept their defeat quite well. We thought it wise to stand up when Palace scored & not when Town did. We were at Selhurst together when Town last won there during the reign of the Dark Lord. I remember Andros Townsend being sent off. We were also there when we lost 6-0 in the early days of Mick's reign. Post match beers near Surrey Quays & then off to St Albans for an excellent Blondie tribute band (minus son). Quite a day for an oldie like me.

I wasn’t there yesterday, but Palace fans on song has always been a special away day. One of my favourites, despite never catching a win there. Special day for you both 👍

bit disappointing there have been no tales of woe about loutish behaviour for our London away day fans…c’mon boys need to up your game before our next trip to the smoke…😉
